  • All Specialist Doctors will be involved in providing a general clinical service to the Trust, providing clinical services to Derbyshire, East Staffordshire and surrounding areas, with colleagues and to be responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of patients at the hospitals and clinics at which you have duties and the proper functioning of the department.
  • You'll be responsible for the continuing care and treatment of patients in your charge and personal performance of clinical duties as agreed in your job plan, allowing for all proper delegation to and training of your staff, the teaching of staff in training, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • You'll be maintaining flexible arrangements for emergency cover and a provision of cover for colleagues during reasonable periods of leave including the care of patients and supervision of resident doctors.
