The Trust Doctor position in the Emergency Department is for a duration of 12 months, starting in August 2026.
What level of supervision will be provided to the Trust Doctor?
The Trust Doctor will receive direct shop floor supervision from approximately 20 consultants and about 20 experienced ED middle grades.

The Trust Doctor will be involved with a variety of patients, including those with stroke, trauma, acutely unwell medical and surgical conditions, as well as paediatric complaints and minor injuries.
