  • Critical Care provision is delivered across two critical care units – ICU 1, a 9 bedded unit which was completely refurbished in December 2022; and ICU 2, an 8 bedded unit that was opened in January 2017 following a £2.3 million refurbishment.
  • There are around 800-900 critical care admissions across the two units per year.
