Responsibilities

  • We have recently expanded our Fellow cohort to ensure we can meet increasing placement requirements and maintain excellent educational support for learners.
  • Our Fellows are often the first point of contact for medical students on placement and therefore have a pivotal role in all aspects of education delivery, student assessments and student welfare.
  • This includes delivering a range of medical education sessions in safe learning environments, coordinating student timetables, and participating in student exams.
  • We encourage our Fellows to join our priority project work, and there will be opportunities to lead patient safety, student support, and immersive technology education projects.
  • Protected timetabled sessions allow Fellows to pursue their specialist clinical interests.
  • We also encourage and fund postgrad certificates in education and support our Fellows to engage in educational research, complete publications and present at national conferences.
  • Our close collaboration with Imperial College provides enriching networking and developmental opportunities.
